First Aid at Work

The 3-day First Aid at Work qualification (FAW) is ideal for most businesses whose risk assessment has identified that they require a fully trained First Aider for their workplace.

This qualification indicates an individual can undertake the role of Workplace First Aider

This 18 hour Outdoor course syllabus complies with the syllabus as laid down by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE)

https://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/priced/l74.pdf

Because this qualification is a 3-day qualification the attendee must complete a 6-hour online part first. This can be completed at any time before the classroom part and it can be started and stopped as much as the learner needs. If it is not completed by the date of the start of the classroom part the learner will not be allowed to attend and therefore will not receive a Certificate.

First Aid at Work requalification

This 2-day course allows an existing 3-day First Aid at Work First Aider to requalify over a period of two days, rather than three. It must be completed no less than 1 calendar month after expiry of the existing certificate.

To take the 2-day Requalification course, the original First Aid qualification must still be valid or have expired less than 1 calendar month of completing the course. If the certificate is more than 1 calendar month past expiry then the full 3-day course must be taken. Certificates will be checked when Registering.

Students that pass either course will be awarded with a Level 3 First Aid at Work Certificate valid for 3 years. Certificates are provided in PDF form to allow easy sharing and may be printed out for framing.

It takes place 0900 – 1800hrs each day.

Venue: Bray Business Centre, Weirbank, Bray SL6 2ED
