When 4 Minutes is a lifetime

Yes, you can learn to save a life in just 4 Minutes

Yes, you can learn to save a life in just 4 Minutes

September 22, 2018 admin

Hollie Harrington is a photographer and filmmaker. She has produced a 6 minute documentary showing how to save a life. The actual teaching is 4 Minutes long, then is followed by some real-life vox pops.

CPR is all about buying time until the Emergency Services arrive. Using a Defibrillator is all about shocking a heart (stopping the chaotic electrical activity) in order for it to restart itself and start beating. Both of these skills (CPR and using a defibrillator) are child’s play. I’d go further; children, given the chance, would be more gung ho than adults in having a go. Adults are filled with self-doubt and fears.

Watch the film and let us know what you think.
