Ligature training equips individuals to safely manage ligature strangulation incidents
This course equips participants with essential knowledge and practical skills to respond effectively to incidents involving ligature strangulation. The training covers critical areas such as recognising and assessing ligature points, understanding different methods of strangulation, and the safe use of ligature cutting equipment.
Participants will also learn about relevant regulations, organisational policies, and procedures, as well as the physiological effects of strangulation and first aid administration.
By the end of the course, students will be confident in managing ligature-related emergencies and preserving the scene for investigative purposes.
This course is crucial for anyone working in environments where ligature risks are present.
The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a Certificate.
