Forestry First Aid is a 1-2 hour add-on to the First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work course and covers additional subjects that might be encountered by Forestry workers.

This module is designed to meet the requirements of the Forestry Commission First Aid at Work Policy.

It is a ‘bolt-on’ 1-2 hour unit with exact time dependent upon the content of the first aid qualification it is added to.

In addition to the content of an (Emergency) First Aid at Work course, the Forestry Commission recommend topics including:

  • Severe bleeding (i.e. chainsaw injury)
  • Crush injury
  • Hypothermia
  • Tick bites
  • Lyme Disease

Certification

All Certificates issued are in electronic (PDF) format. They will be sent to the person (or organisation) that organised the Booking in order for them to be distributed to the student(s).

Whilst we try and maintain a fixed cost for our courses, our prices may be subject to an additional fuel charge if your location is a distance away from our nearest trainer to you.

There is a £50 supplement per day if that day is a Sunday or Bank Holiday.
