This First Aid course is ideal for groups wanting a basic First Aid course without the formality of a full First Aid at Work course. We can tailor some content to your needs.

This course is suitable for Martial Arts teachers and other similar organisations where the Basic Life Support is needed but also some Martial Arts specific First Aid.

It is suitable for workers that need a basic First Aid qualification as part of their specific qualification (e.g. Sports coach) but do check that it meets your minimum standards.

It is Not an (Emergency) First Aid at Work Course, Requalification or Refresher. If you need a First Aid in the Workplace qualification, look at our Emergency First Aid at Work or First Aid at Work courses.

All courses are delivered, evaluated and quality assured to the same standards where possible as First Aid at Work topics. The course contents fully meets the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2015 where relevant.

Attendees with be issued with a Certificate, valid for 3 years. These will be emailed to the course Organiser for distribution after the event as the course content may vary and topics covered are printed on the Certificate.

if you want a more tailored course, then we can offer the BLS course with 1 or more hours added on to cover topics specific to your need. For instance a running club could have an additional hour covering soft tissue injuries, fractures and head injuries. Do look at our Bespoke course page for further information.
