Thank you for your interest in a Group Booking for your Organisation. This page explains a bit about the process and what we can do for you.

We can deliver Training to Private Groups anywhere in the UK as we have a wide spread of Trainers. Some of them are employed, some are vetted Freelance Trainers. They are all based on Mainland UK, so if you are not on the mainland then there will be additional costs in getting a Trainer to you (travel and/or accommodation).

We also deliver courses abroad. If your Organisation has staff abroad it can be much cheaper to fly one trainer out than several staff back. Again we will need to include travel and accommodation costs as well as a daily Allowance. If you can source any of these costs directly, that is useful.

Group size

We can deliver training to Groups of up to 12 people per trainer. The price is per Group so it makes sense for you to fill the course as close to 12 as you can get, but you don’t have to fill the course. It just means that the per person cost is higher.

If you have more than 12 people we need to add proportionally more trainers (1 for every additional group of up to 12 people) or run the course more than once. The second option is our preferred solution from a trainer availability point of view and from your point of view it provides more flexibility with dates for your staff.

Generally it is more cost effective for us to come to you once you have more than about 5 or 6 people needing training at once. If you have fewer than this, also consider sending them on one of our Public Courses.

Venue

We expect you to provide a suitable training venue at your own cost. ‘Suitable’ will depend on the course being run, but for an Outdoor course for instance, an indoor and an outdoor area is normally required.

How to Book

If you don’t know what course you want, check the list at the side, or get in touch to discuss.

Once you know what you want, fill out our contact form and we can provide you with a written quotation. All our prices are on this website. We don’t hide them, so you know what it costs beforehand.

Once you accept the Quote we will send you a Booking Form and agree a suitable date (or dates) with you.

If you can’t find the information that you want, do contact us with your questions.

Useful information

In general First Aid Certificates are valid for 3 years from date of issue (last day of course). There are exceptions such as Immediate Life Support (ILS – 1 year), Care Certificate First Aid module (2 years) and Annual Refresher Certificate (1 year).

All our 3 year Certificates are competency based. That means that each learner has to demonstrate competency in the Assessed elements. If they cannot do this, they cannot pass. We will, however, issue them with a Certificate of Attendance, valid for 1 year but they cannot be recognised as a First Aider.

Adult and child CPR, defibrillation and Recovery position will need to be demonstrated at ground level to pass.

All learners need a good understanding (at least Level 2) of spoken and written English. If they don’t have this they cannot follow, or pass the course and the Trainer will ask them to leave.
