This qualification is aimed at those who work in the outdoors close to roads or buildings.
All courses are delivered, evaluated and quality assured to meet the new guidelines set out by the HSE in October 2013 and meet the requirements of the First Aid at Work (First Aid) regulations 1981 and subsequent 2016 changes.
This 8 hour course is designed to provide First Aid training for those working in an outdoor environment.
There are no prerequisite entry requirements for this qualification.
Prospective candidates are to be advised that they should have should have literacy and numeracy competency appropriate for the qualification
Students that pass will be awarded with a 4 Minutes 8 hour Outdoor First Aid Certificate valid for 3 years which will list the topics covered. Certificates are provided in PDF form to allow easy sharing and may be printed out for framing.
Emergency First Aid at Work qualification – optional
For those attendees working in an environment where there is a need to hold a Workplace First Aid Certificate, this can be incorporated into the syllabus and all attendees that need it will receive a Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate as well. There is an additional fee of £20 per student for this optional qualification.This needs to be requested at time of booking to allow the qualification to be registered
