Workplace First Aid courses

Care Certificate: Standard 12 (First Aid) -

The information in Standard 12 provides knowledge about the administration of basic life support. This 2-hour course covers the elements required in Standard 12 and consists of a mixture of practical assessment and theoretical examination. All courses are delivered, evaluated and quality assured according to currently accepted first aid principles.

Church First Aid -

All Churches need to be prepared should someone fall ill or injure themselves at the Church. The Church has a duty of care over anyone that visits, from parishioners to volunteers to children at Sunday School or at similar activities. Emergency First Aid at Work -

This 6-hour (1 day) course is for small and low risk Businesses. It is also suitable for instructors and trainers that run small classes. e.g. yoga, swimming and martial arts teachers.

First Aid at Work -

Suitable for high hazard environments and working conditions that require comprehensive first aid cover such as in factories or on building sites and companies with high numbers of staff. No previous first aid experience is required to attend this course.

First Aid at Work Requalification -

This 2-day course allows an existing 3-day First Aid at Work First Aider to requalify over a period of two days, rather than three. It must be completed no less than 1 calendar month after expiry of the existing certificate.

Annual Refresher First Aid -

This 3-hour course is for existing First Aid at Work First Aiders and Paediatric First Aiders to help them maintain their basic skills and to keep up with any legislation changes.

Emergency Paediatric First Aid Level 3 -

This is a 1-day entry level course for anyone looking after children but do not need the full 2-day OFSTED Paediatric course.
Typically this would be for Nannies and Au Pairs although babysitters, parents and grandparents would also find this course suitable

Paediatric First Aid Level 3 -

This is the 2-day Ofsted, EYFS, CSSIW and SureStart compliant course. It is available as a 2-day course or a Blended course with the first day a video-based online course (however the blended course cannot be run in parallel with the classroom-only course as the order of subjects is not compatible)
