Emergency First Aid at Work
This 6-hour (1 day) course is for small and low risk Businesses. It is also suitable for instructors and trainers that run small classes. e.g. yoga, swimming and martial arts teachers.
Emergency Paediatric First Aid
This is a 1-day entry level course for anyone looking after children but do not need the full 2-day OFSTED Paediatric course.
Typically this would be for Nannies and Au Pairs, activity organisers and parent/child club leaders although babysitters, parents and grandparents would also find this course suitable
All courses are delivered, evaluated and quality assured to meet the new guidelines set out by the HSE in October 2013 and meet the requirements of the First Aid at Work (First Aid) regulations 1981 and subsequent 2016 changes. The EFAW course fully meets the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2015 as per the HSE requirements.
Both courses are run in parallel on the day and you can gain a certificate in either qualification or both (extra charge)
Directions: Directions to the venue will be sent by email once Booking is made. There is plenty of parking at the venue, The mainline / Elizabeth Line train station is 5 minutes walk away. Bicycles may be left inside the building.
Accessibility: The venue is on the ground floor and there is slightly ramped access. The car park is made up but with a loose surface. Assistance is available. Please do let us know ahead of time if needed and we will accommodate you.
Refreshments: Instant coffee, tea, squash and biscuits are provided. Please bring lunch and/or other drinks. A Tesco Supermarket is 5 minutes walk away.
